When I began to think of running for the Colorado House of Representatives I also had to think about who would replace me on City Council. It’s a big job, with large amounts of reading each week, poring through numbers, and making sense of the work of the city and its over 250 million dollar budget. I have known Steve Olson for a number of years and have the utmost respect for him as a businessman, a leader and a veteran. In his Navy career, Steve was tasked with the oversight of Navy medical facilities, including their financial wellbeing. He knows how to treat the taxpayers dollars like they are his own and he is a quick study of complicated issues. I am confident that Steve will represent the citizens well and I am proud to endorse him for Loveland City Council, Ward III.

— Hugh McKean, State Representative - House District 51

Steve Olson for Loveland City Council Ward 3 is all about serving his country and community. Navy Captain, American Red Cross, Loveland's Planning Commission and Citizen's Finance Committee, Loveland Chamber of Commerce, his church. I have know Steve for nearly 10 years as a business professional and as a close friend. He is compassionate to those in need, fiscally astute, well studied and a patriot. Steve would make an outstanding city councilor and I hope the citizens of Ward 3 agree.

— Don Overcash, Loveland City Council - Ward IV
