Steve Olson is Most Qualified to Represent Ward 3

POSTED:   02/15/2017 08:40:24 PM MST

When I decided to run for the Colorado House of Representatives I knew that part of my commitment was to make sure that the Loveland City Council was left in good hands. I knew that it would take someone who would dedicate themselves to the work of the council, read the packets, do the research and talk to their neighbors in the community. I knew it would take someone with experience in managing people and projects and I knew it would take someone who had a history of serving.

Steve Olson is that man. With his experience in the United States Navy, achieving the rank of and retiring as captain, and with vital projects in health care, he has the tools he needs to help guide our city into the future. Having served on our Planning Commission and our Citizens Finance Advisory Committee, he has found ways to serve and give back with his time and talents. Helping businesses with financial matters and helping them succeed gives him the real-life experience of what it takes to make a business thrive.

I am proud to offer my endorsement of Steve Olson. While he worked at the Pentagon on veteran's health care issues, he developed a reputation for getting things done. Often his superior officers would suggest a course of action and, needing someone they could count on to take the helm and deliver results, their saying became "send Olson!"

I would dare to take it one step further and say "Send the Qualified. Send Olson" — because Loveland deserves the very best.
