Steve Olson Has Record of Accomplishment

POSTED:   03/08/2017 07:57:25 PM MST

When comparing the three candidates in the City Council race in Ward 3, one gentleman stands out from the others.
Steve Olson has the track record, the experience, the knowledge, and the proven dedication to this city that will make his service on council a most valuable asset to our community. His record of accomplishments in the U.S. Navy are more than noteworthy, they are exemplary. Any veteran, myself included, can attest that Steve's achievements during his time in service fit the definition of "going above and beyond."

Steve Olson's commitment to Loveland is unquestionable. For many years, Steve has sacrificed his own time and resources to serve the public in various facets, including time on both the Planning Commission and the Citizen's Finance Advisory Commission. The knowledge and experience gained from his public service have equipped him with the necessary tools for his duties on the council.

Steve is going in with an understanding of city planning, zoning codes, and property rights as well as firsthand knowledge of the inner workings of the city's finances and budgeting practices. To prepare for his future role, Steve has been diligently attending City Council meetings and study sessions, noting the discussions as they happen, and is ready to step into his new position in public service and work in cooperation with the other eight members of the council for the betterment of our community.

I am honored and proud to endorse Steve Olson for Loveland City Council.

Jeremy Jersvig
